OMG! HUGE Pokemon Sun & Moon News!!!

Less than one week after a pretty big update in its own right (CoroCoro Magezine), another ENORMOUS release was made about Pokemon Sun & Moon today on the Live Nintendo Treehouse Show.

The biggest news today came with the leak of not one, not two, BUT THREE New Alola Region Pokemon! They shall be called Pikipek, Yungoos, and Grubbin!

Pikipek is a Normal / Flying Type Pokemon that closely resembles a Woodpecker, and will be able to evolve twice. It can know either the ability Keen Eye or Skill Link.

Yungoos is a pure Normal type Pokemon, the Loitering Pokemon Species that resembles a Mongoose. It can only evolve once, and can know the ability Strong Jaw or Stakeout. Stakeout is a brand new ability that doubles the damage with moves used on a Pokemon that switches in.

And Grubbin was the final Pokemon released today, being a pure Bug Type Pokemon that knows the ability Swarm.

A clip was also shown that told that both Solgaleo and Lunala will change forms (phases) when they use certain moves, primarily their exclusive moves. Solgaleo will go into its Radiant Sun Phase, while Lunala will go into its Full Moon Phase.

Finally, it was revealed that a new battling concept called Battle Royal will be implemented in Pokemon Sun & Moon. Battle Royals include one Pokemon for four different players, and its a free for all. Opponents can attack any Pokemon they want! But once the first Pokemon faints, the battle ends and points and money are then distributed.

And on a minor note, it was also released that Popplio can learn Disarming Voice. Magearna's Ability, Soul Heart, was also finally described, detailing that Magearna's Special Attack will increase on level everytime a Pokemon faints in battle.
