Be Patient when Solving Puzzles

You do not get any guidance in Baldo: The Guardian Owls, there are no tutorials of any kind. You are basically left alone to figure things out for yourself, which is not an easy challenge when the dungeons you enter are full of enemies. Some rooms in the dungeon can be completed by just clearing the enemies out, whilst in others it is necessary to solve a puzzle to vanquish your foes. If you enter a room that has a puzzle that needs to be solved, you should approach it with patience, as it will often require studying enemy patterns to figure it out.
Practice Throwing Pots Before you Enter the First Dungeon
It is necessary that you throw pots in the first main dungeon, so make sure you practice throwing some about in the village before you enter it. The first main dungeon is tough to complete and is not helped by there being no tutorials or guides to help you with the puzzles, which are solved by throwing the pots that are littered about to defeat enemies.
Consider Doing the Optional Quests
There is a large assortment of main and optional quests to tackle in Baldo: The Guardian Owls, and they will be offered to you by random NPC villagers you meet as you journey through the many villages and settlements in the game. There is no obligation to take on the optional quests, their main purpose is really only to flesh out your adventure. However, as there is no guides for the game, these optional quests can provide some helpful information when you need some light direction as to what you should be doing next in the game.
Search for Keys to Enter Dungeons
In order to be successful in Baldo: The Guardian Owls, you will need to find the keys that open the locked dungeon doors. This is not easy as they are usually in places that are hard to reach and require you being skillful in navigation. When you do find the keys, they will typically be inside a treasure chest. You will not be able to proceed into a dungeon until you have found the key, which means you have no option but to literally search every nook and cranny in the area until it turns up.
Explore Everywhere Carefully
The world in Baldo: The Guardian Owls can often times be intricate and confusing, and the mini-map you are given is not much help in trying to figure what you need to do in order to proceed in the game. You therefore need to make sure you take your time, so you can search every nook and cranny to find the keys and switches that will allow you to progress. This will require patience, for example, The Lost Galleon, which is the first dungeon you enter has many critical items you need to find that are indistinguishable from the regular environmental objects which means you need to search carefully to spot them.
How to get the Guardian Horn
One of the most important items you can obtain in Baldo: The Guardian Owls is the musical instrument called the Guardians's Horn. This item allows Baldo to solve puzzles, open doors, or reveal a secret area. Once you have the Guardian's Horn, make sure you use it whenever the ground indicator that can be found in most of the dungeons tells you to. Later on in the game, the Guardian's Horn becomes particularly useful, especially when you need to find a hidden key. In order to obtain the Guardian's Horn, you must travel to the Owl Tower, which lies to the north of Kidoge Village. When you enter the tower you will fall through a hole in the floor and end up on the lower floor where you will have to complete a puzzle to proceed and find the Guardian's Horn which will fall from the cieling when you solve the puzzle.
Don't Worry About Game-Overs
There are no tutorials or guides in Baldo: The Guardian Owls, and you will quickly find out that it is a punishing game where you can die at any moment. During the opening hours you will probably get dozens of game-overs as there are plenty of precarious situations you must face in order to proceed. Don't worry if you are constantly getting game-overs as this is part of learning the game and most of the time you will only spawn back in the same room to have another attempt at it.
There is a revolving door behind a bookcase on the second level. You need to place the owl faced vase on the mark, the second vase is on the ground floor hidden by a bookshelf due to the perspective. It's near the first staircase, just walk slowly until you’re prompted to pick it up.
You have to hit the switch to lower the egg sacs and then light the brazier in front of the door, the boss will run into it and get hurt allowing you to get hits in. You have to hit the boss 5 times.
