The Long Awaited District 10
Before we begin the process of unlocking District 10 there are some factors you will need to be aware of if you are coming to this event fresh off of the Christmas 2014 / New Year's 2015 Events. If you are not - if you find yourself working this District Unlock Event after those events, you will likely not be impacted by the money issues that are effecting the players who were.
Thanks to what we can only view as mercy on the part of the wizards behind the game, this time around the substantial costs that were previously associated with unlocking the new District Land Expansion Slots have really been moderate here - $15K and a smaller number of plots overall means that the impact of the back-to-back holiday events that the majority of players approaching this District unlock faced will not have a crippling impact on game Progress!
That is really good news mates! Of course we still need to complete unlocking the legacy Land Expansion Slots from the events - and those are NOT cheap...
The thing to remember is that all of this is NOT going to happen quickly anyway, so there is no cause to stress over what is basically catch-up activities. But we should examine those and a basic strategy for addressing them anyway - though this may not apply to you (if you are coming to District 10 at a time past January 2015 skip the information below)..
In addition to starting the Land Expansion Slot clearing for District 10, there are some other Legacy activities that will need to be completed - including unlocking Jillian and her Apartment, completing any of the Christmas and New Year Mission Chains that you have started (since those will continue) and of course dealing with the builds and restructuring your town once you have opened the legacy land slots.
One good piece of advice we can offer in terms of gaining as much coin as fast as you can is to remind you that Buildings in storage do not coin earn! So in this instance it may be a good idea to pack them into your town as tight as you can manage so you are collecting from as many buildings as possible each play session. Just saying, yes that will make your town look really bad, but once you have the new land expansion slots open you can blow the design and redo it....
Finally this new District Expansion kicks off with a special Premium Event called Epic Animal Weekend - the details for which are below.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
To put all of this in perspective for you, the costs for this District Expansion from the start will include the following - in addition to any of the legacy Land Expansion Slots you have not yet unlocked...
--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--
Following the well-established trend for the Introduction of a new District into the game they open the ball with the addition of a bunch of new items and objects.
--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--
The following are new Buildings - or building-related Objects - that are added with this new District.
--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--
The addition of some new Costumes is to be expected - and for District 10 they did not disappoint with delay as a new Stewie Costume leads the charge!
Chumba Wumba Stewie Resource Requirements
The following resources are required to complete the CWS Costume (though you can also pay 400 Clams and instantly unlock it).
--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--
At this point in the new section we begin covering the missions and quests. You should note that the very first one covered is the Epic Animal Weekend Event - which is a special Premium Event.
You do not have to participate in this - it will cost you 200 Clams total if you do want to - but since that is an amount that could easily have been accumulated through saving Free Clams in the game we are including it here - along with its related quests.
So hey, Welcome to the Missions & Quests Section for District 10!

Jerome delivers devastating news to the fellas - the Clam has run out of Beer! Due to the brewery being shut down and no new beer being made they are out of beer... Note that to complete part 2 you will need to clear the land and get the District back up and functional. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Home Brew Pt. 2
At this point and with the brewery repaired the big question is will the owners re-open it and begin to brew beer again? Considering how dry the town has become getting them to make the right decision here is of paramount importance...
To help push the decision in the direction that we want complete the following tasks:
1. Craft the Brewery Annex
2. Have Brian File a Complaint.
You will note the word "Craft" in the first task above - that's right the Crafting System has been brought back for this Mission! Yay! Or Not-Yay if you know, you don't like that... But we do!
The overview of the Brewery Crafting Scheme is as follows:
1. Collect Resources (Beer Bottles)
2. Craft the Target Objects.
For the purposes of this Mission the crafted objects include (but are not limited to) the following:
As is normally the case these craft resources are obtained via character tasks - including the following:
As you can see the Crafting system and resources are far less complicated than those of previous events, which can be thought of as a good thing since it makes the process a lot simpler...
Completing this Mission also awards you with $750 and 475 XP.
Brewery and Fine Arts Districts Overlap
Due to an issue with the timing of the string of Holiday and Special Events as well as the missions for District 10 (the Brewery District) and 11 (The Fine Arts District) there will be quite a bit of overlap here.
We just need to grin and embrace the suck as best we can.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Home Brew Pt. 3
Th completion of Pt. 2 coincides with the beginning of the Fine Arts District Expansion Quests for most of the players, which is why the Mission(s) are being given a more rigid application of the coverage of related kit and, in particular, the Brewery-based crafts and crafted items.
In fact the diverse collection of crafted items gives new fefinition to the term "Craft Brewery" when you think about it.
Quahog's Patriot Brewery is loosely based upon the Sam Adams Brewery in Boston - a large Brewery that began its life as a Craft Brewery. But still...
For our purposes here we just want to emphasize that we did in fact emphasize the need to complete what are rapidly becoming Necro (aged) missions as soon as possible - and specifically we covered the outstanding Land Expansions, missions (in particular the Chumba Wumba Missions) and other content in the opening salvo for the new District.
This Mission is largely focused in that direction and so should be granted a certain measure of priority...

How does one end or complete the Brewery section? I have built all but one item. Do I have to build them all? Thanks for your help.

The movie clips next to some character actions are simply the actions that are preformed outside of a building, more of something to watch them do.
Hello, so I noticed some sort of movie clipper icon next to different, but not all, character tasks.....what are they for?
