Welcome to the Unofficial SuperCheats Guide to Forza Horizon 2!

Forza's Horizon series is a two-title racing video game series (so far) for Microsoft's Xbox 360 and Xbox One video game consoles.

The main Forza series is developed by Turn 10 Studios, while the Horizon series is developed by British games studio Playground Games (for Xbox One) and Sumo Digital (for Xbox 360), in association with Turn 10.

The reason for that is largely due to the Differences between the main series and Horizon, the former being a traditional pro track racing simulation, while the latter has a street and off-road focus.

Despite the very obvious difference between the two game series Horizon is still part of Turn 10's long-running Forza Motorsport franchise. Despite having similar Cars and makers (up to a point) the focus of Horizon is the rock-and-roll influenced Horizon Festival.

The Horizon Festival is structured on race heats, with each level being differentiated by different color wristbands. It is also largely focused on the party scene most often associate with house and rave culture.

The basic story structure is similar between the games: the player arrives at the Festival and competes in a series of races in order to score high enough to acquire an entry-level wristband - in this case Yellow.

The opening CS at the Start Screen gives you a taste of some of the cars you will race in the game and the impressive scenery

Once they have the Yellow Wristband they proceed both through the Wristband race series, and other race challenges. Part of this process is a tradition similar to the main series, a common theme of high-end Cars that binds them together - they also use a level system that is similar, and rely upon tuning and upgrades for the cars that are very similar.

The challenges that are built into the game include standard point-to-point distance races over set courses, rally races, and drift races. Each provides the player with a set score based on their placement in the finish (the first three places). These scores add up to represent the cumulative score for the player.

In addition to all of that, the player can also challenge the other racers attending and competing in the Festival, as well as compete in specially-designed Showcase events.

Add on to that a collections system that features a number of different signs, speed trap cameras, and 315 roads that make up the world in the game, and you have the basic picture.

While the series has always included day/night cycles, Horizon 2 features a very realistic weather system, with road physics that are part of it.

That covers the stick of the game, that being its mechanics and racing.

The carrot is rewards that include money and status points, as well as the Cars of course. The money is used to buy new cars and to upgrade and customize the cars you win. The points are used to unlock special abilities that influence game play.

Despite being a part of the Forza empire, Horizon is considered more of a spin-off than part of the main series.

You canĀ“t change kw to hp. if you would like to see what hp figures you have, simply multiply the kw with 1.36. For example 400kw x 1.36=544hp
