Each Master has their own specialisation so remember when you choose a Master the deck you can create will be determined by who you chose. All the Masters however can use Neutral cards.
You can take part in some friendly banter with your opposition by tapping on your Master's portrait to pull up a menu of basic emotes which you can send.
The maximum amount of cards your deck can hold is 30 so make sure you keep an eye on the counter in the bottom-right of the screen as you add to it.
You will be able to spend 2 Chi once per turn to draw an equipment card from the large chest on the left-hand side of the screen which is the Armoury. The equipment cards can be used to enhance your warriors if you decide to pay the corresponding amount to place them.
Even if a card has a fairly mediocre attack and/or defense it may be worth keeping if it has a special ability as some of those skills can be extremely useful in a fight.
Keep an eye out for the Master Scroll which is exclusive to each Master. This powerful card when used in the right circumstance can turn a match around. The Master Scroll can be used once per match.
A good tactic is to assign warriors to protect your Master, even using the weak ones to do the job can strenthen your position considerably in the match.
Keep in mind that having strength in numbers is not always a guarantee that you will win the battle as there are certain cards that are capable of dealing damage across a number of enemy warriors which will have a devestating effect to a group of weaker defenders.
When you reach a certain level with a Master you will unlock a new Master, gaining levels will also unlock new cards for your Master.
You can make sure you do not miss an update by setting the auto-download updates option on your phone or tablet.
Pay attention to the yellow icon in the top left corner of each card as this is it's Chi cost. The higher the cost the longer you will need to wait before you can use it. This is why it is important you have some low-cost cards in your deck because if you don't you will not be able to do anything for the first couple of rounds of a match.
Make sure you pay attention to cards that have Kickoff and Farewell abilities as these cards will need you to plan around them as these abilites can only be triggered when the card is removed from play.
You can only have 4 duplicates of any one type of card in your deck and only 2 of those stronger cards.
Make sure you read each cards descriptions when viewing your collection so you know when their Kickoff and Farewell abilities are triggered as well as to find out what other skills they possess. This can be done during a match by tapping and holding a card.
The easiest way to pick up gold is to go to the quests area and see what needs to be done to complete your quests and then set about completing the tasks one by one.
