Time Trials

Time Trials returns in Mario Kart 7. As in Grand Prix, you can collect coins but they don't count towards your coin total, they only increase your speed in the course. As usual, you can play on all courses and race to get the best time. Whatever kart you use, you will get 3 mushrooms to use in the course for shortcuts and speed boosts. You cannot unlock expert ghost data in Mario Kart 7.

There is a new addiction to Time Trials. Through SpotPass, you can receive ghost data from players records in courses. You can play up to 7 of these ghosts and see if you can beat them. Although you don't get anything from beating the ghosts, versing other ghosts will make you determined to race to your best and try to beat the ghosts.

The new addition to Time Trials in Mario Kart 7 has made Time Trials much more enjoyable to play and try to get your best time.
