Basic Attacks
A standard, 3-slash combo
A horizontal slash
an upward slash
A low sword stab.
Dash Attacks
A dashing sword thrust
Smash Attacks
A powerful downward slash
The swordfighter whirls his/her blade upward, dealing multiple hits to the opponent.
The swordfighter quickly slashes his/her sword low on both sides.
Special Attacks
(These are the default Specials)
The swordmaster spins around and releases a small whirlwind. This doesn't do that much damage but it can stop enemies on their tracks, giving you a window to follow up with combos.
The swordfighter spins around with the sword drawn, similar to a bladed wheel.
Stone Scabbard (Up Special)
The first upward slash takes the swordfighter to the air while knocking the opponent in mid-air. This is immediately followed up by a powerful slash to the ground.
The swordfighter takes on a defensive stance that will allow him/her to counter any attack within the short time window.
Air Attacks
The sword fighter cartwheels in mid-air, sword drawn.
A flurry of quick sword thrusts.
A backward slice
A skyward thrust
A spinning sword dive attack, capable of inflicting multiple hits and has a wider hitbox.
Final Smash
The swordfighter raises his/her sword which unleashes several crescents that damage and knockback enemies. It's better to do this near the edge to prevent any unfortunate opponents from recovering back to the stage.
Recovery
The swordfighter has good reach and average speed. His/her main vertical recovery move would be the Stone Scabbard. However, just like the Brawler's Soaring Axe Kick, you should be near the edge or the move's follow up will send you plummeting to the void below. The Airborne Assault is a good horizontal recovery move because of the distance it can cover and can be used in mid-air. However, take note that using this move will render your swordfighter in a “fall” status and has the tendency to slide off the edges as well. Use this only when you're near the edge.
Gameplay
You're free to edit the Mii Swordfighter's movesets. The strategy will depend and change accordingly on the chosen specials for your Mii Swordfighter. Also, since you can change your Mii Swordfighter's equipment as well, you should take into consideration the stat bonuses and bonus effects your brawler can derive from those.
