#4 - Xerneas

It is at this point where we takes things to new level with these Kalos Pokemon, and we start by doing so with the incredible Xerneas. Truthfully, Xerneas could be rated much, much higher on this list. But since it has just mediocre Defensive Stats, one powerful Steel Type Physical Attack could do it in before it has the chance to set up with Geomancy. HOWEVER... If Xerneas does successfully get of Geomancy, the ENTIRE opposing team is in deep, deep trouble.

The Power Herb is the only item Xerneas will ever have, trust us, and it usually is seen with Modest Nature. (Which means a Knockoff could screw it terribly.) It must have maximized Effort Values in Special Attack, with most of the remaining goin to its HP (with a little to its Speed and Defense). Geomancy is another must, as well as STAB Moonblast.

But from there, it gets a little complex. Usually, Xerneas runs with Thunder and Focus Blast. Thunder gives it a viable option for Palkia and Primal Kyogre, while Focus Blast is solely for Heatran. However, Psyshock can replace Thunder for Blissey and Chansey, as well as Aromatherapy to cure Toxic Status. Xerneas has a number of options that make it a viable options on any team, giving you coverage where you need it.
