Courses

In Mario Kart 8 their are currently 48 courses available; 25 new & 23 retro. The courses are split into 12 different cups; the Mushroom, Flower, Star, Special, Shell, Banana, Leaf, Lightning, Egg, Triforce, Crossing, & Bell cups. The courses vary from underwater courses, deserts, space & several other settings. (some courses have different names in different regions)

Recently Nintendo announced 2 DLC packs, each containing 8 new courses (Egg, Triforce, Crossing, & Bell cups). If the 2 packs are purchased, the player will have 48 courses available.
